On Monday we were learning all about subtraction..perhaps the favourite activity of the day was the 'Lego Subtraction Race' . The children worked in pairs and each had to build a tall tower of Lego. They would take it in turns to roll the dice then remove that number of blocks from their tower. The first person to get rid of all the blocks is the winner!
On Tuesday we were using on the story 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. We created a giant story map together as a group then the children worked independently on one of their own. Have a look at some photographs from both days.
