WAU and Numeracy work in P4CM
This week, we have been looking at food packages and what the labels stand for. The children learned about what the traffic light system on boxes meant and from this the class said that they will take more care when choosing what foods to eat. We also did a blind taste test, trying out a shopping brand of Rice Krispies and the Kelloggs brand and the children had to decide which one they thought was Kelloggs. After trying both products the class voted and from this preferred the shop brand Rice Krispies which was also healthier than the Kelloggs brand.
In Numeracy, we then used different food packages to identify what 3D shape they are and they had to describe the properties of the shapes.
