We have been learning about scales and how we use them to weigh things. Yesterday we had a go at feeling the weights of some classroom items in our hands to decide if they were heavy or light. Today we used the scales to find out some weights by using cubes as our unit of measurement. In the video you can see us weighing the scissors, these were the lightest thing as they weighed the same as 9 cubes. Our heaviest item was a timer that weighed the same as 114 cubes! That took us a really long time to count all those cubes but we had lots of fun!
