Today we had an exciting day in school with a visit from Christine McMahon a local 400m hurdles athlete. We all joined with her in completing a circuits activity in the morning which was lots of fun. After break Christine told us lots about her journey to becoming the athlete she is today. She encouraged us to find something we really enjoy in life and to work hard at it. Some of us even got a go on the agility ladder and we got to see Christine on the hurdles. It was very impressive!
We all came away inspired to work hard in PE and sports classes both inside and outside school to be the best we can be.
