Emily from the charity, Cancer Focus came in to speak to P5 about the importance of staying safe in the sun. She discussed the effects that sun damage can cause us and gave us some really useful tips on how to stay safe. Emily shone a UV light (to represent the sun) on beads (to represent our skin) and this demonstrated to us what damage the sun can do if we do not protect our skin.
