Primary 3 have been working on their prediction skills. They understand that they can look for clues in text and pictures to help suggest what might happen next. Today we looked at rhyming for children to practise their prediction skills. The children looked at the items in Pat's rhyming box and said out loud what each item was. Saying the words aloud helped the children to 'hear' the rhythm. They then wrote down the missing item in Pat's box and used rhyming/prediction skills to anticipate the last word or next line correctly. We'll done Primary 3. You all worked hard today.
