On our ROAD TO RECOUNT we have been working on writing diary entries. One story we have focused on is The 3 Little Pigs, and to help us understand how the pigs would have felt we had a little 'building experiment'. The class worked in groups to build a house, each using different materials. We used marshmallows, straws, construction toys, lollipop sticks, paper and glue. We did not have a big bad wolf on hand, so instead we used a hairdryer to test our structures - with some surprising results!
