In class, we have been focusing on our problem solving skills. Today we looked at working out specific quantities that we would need to make a 'Florida Sweet Sunrise Mocktail'. The children worked in pairs and had to choose the appropriate method before calculating the new quantity for the mixture. Once the children had completed their sheet, we made the mocktail and the children tested it out! Below is the recipe we used.
Recipe: For 2 litres
- Water 200ml
- Orange juice 800ml
- Pineapple juice 600ml
- Ribena 400ml
