Problem solving in P6SM
13th Sep 2019
This week the children worked in groups during our first problem solving lesson of P6. The task was to use a range of clues to place 10 islands onto the grid - using the correct co-ordinates. It was necessary for the children to listen to each other, read the clues carefully and be logical in their approach to the task. The outcome was very successful with all groups completing the task, although a little help was maybe needed along the way! We will continue to build upon these strategies as the year goes on and the children will have more opportunities to develop their problem solving skills.
